PP plastic
PP (Polypropene/Polypropylene) is a lightweight thermoplastic polymer with high resistance to chemical stress. PP has high resistance to fatigue, which means it can be bent and folded multiple times without the plastic breaking. The material has a wide range of uses and is often used for food packaging such as trays and molds. PP can withstand high temperatures and is therefore used in packaging that can be heated in a microwave. The material becomes brittle at low temperatures and the glass transition temperature is approximately -20°C.
