Marker Pica Dry. Long life Automatic Pencil for marking through deep holes. Deep hole marker pen with 2.8 mm thick “Multi-USE” graphite lead as standard. The tips are so long that you can easily go through brackets, e.g. for screw holes. Ideally suited for use as a replacement for carpenter pencils. For marking on most surfaces/materials, for example, glossy surfaces such as glazed or polished tiles, clinker and glass, etc. Also adheres to dirty and oily surfaces. The lead is fed forward by a simple thumb press. The large quiver cap is equipped with a very strong clip for easy reliable storage at trousers pockets or tool pouch, which allows handling with one hand only. The push-button as umbrella cap and barrel with sealing ring cause a maximum all-round protection against external influences. The new Pica-Dry® with newly developed Power-Lock mechanism offers a 3 times higher and longer holding power than its predecessor – the best in its class until now. This reduces the possibility of the lead slipping in during long-term use to a minimum. New grip zones support the pull out and enhance the haptic experience. The sealing ring gives the closure a noticeable end point. The special “MULTI USE” graphite lead inside has hardness 2B, slightly softer than a standard carpenter pencil and with that adheres to most surfaces. The yellow spare lead is excellent for marking on dark surfaces. Spare leads in Red, Yellow and Graphite are water soluble and can easily be wiped off from smooth surfaces with a damp cloth. Special spare leads White Blue and Green are permanent (Water jet Resistant) and withstand high water pressure to cut stone and tiles. Note that these special leads are very sensitive to moisture and heat. The coloured leads (Red and Yellow) only withstand up to 30°C. The special “MULTI USE” graphite lead and the permanent coloured leads (White, Blue, Green) withstand up to 40°C. Above these temperatures the warm leads may cause problems in the mechanics as they become soft and sticky in the feeder channel so that they might stop moving forward. All refill leads are available separately or assorted in Yellow/Red/Graphite or in White/Blue/Green. Long life – just refill with a new lead. The lead is fed forward with a push of the thumb. Useful for almost all marking by selected refills with different properties. Best functional mechanical marker pencil on the market according to professionals.
