An eco toner is a reusable original toner, where all the parts needed are replaced and the cartridge is cleaned and refilled with freshly prepared toner powder. When an eco toner is labeled with the Nordic Swan label, it means that at least 75% of the toner weight (excluding powder) is made from recycled material.

The Nordic Swan label´s requirements include, among other things, that the toner cartridges should have an error rate lower than 1% on average. Using an original toner once more saves up to 2 liters of oil.
