ENVELOPE SIZES
In Sweden, we have chosen to use the international standard for envelope sizes called ISO 269. This standard is designed to suit the most common paper sizes available on the market, eg. A4 etc.

SEALING
When it comes to sealing envelopes, there are two options to choose from:
The are two types of adhesive seal: self seal and peal and seal. The big difference between the two is that the peal and seal alternative have a protective strip to give the envelopes longer shelf life.
Gummed means that each envelope must be moisten to seal.
WINDOW ENVELOPES
Envelopes with windows are handy if letters with pre-printed addresses should be sent to the letters. The three most common window envelopes have the following designations:
