- Shun Premier Tim Mälzer is an exclusive series of knives. The surface of the knives is hand-hammered, which gives a timeless aesthetic and an exceptional sharpness. The core of the knives is made of VG-10 steel with 32 layers of Damascus steel surrounding it, which, along with the hammered surface, creates a beautiful pattern. The handle is made of laminated Pakkawood from brown walnut, which is shaped and polished to a glossy finish.
