Product Information

  • TRANS CLEAR, the transparent version of Tec7, is a universal, strong, and flexible MS polymer that can be used as a construction adhesive, sealant, or joint compound on most materials when a crystal-clear joint is needed.
  • Tolerates freezing/thawing repeatedly without losing its properties. Adheres well to wet surfaces and can also be used for quick repairs underwater as it is both water- and air-tight - it fully cures when the mass comes into contact with air. TRANS CLEAR can in many cases replace acrylic, silicone, and polyurethane sealants, butyl sealants, mounting adhesives, wood glue, window putty, etc. It does not cause corrosion or etching on metal/aluminum, discoloration on porous surfaces (marble, slate, granite, etc.), damage to the silver coating on mirrors, or melting of polystyrene. It remains flexible throughout its lifespan, is vibration- and sound-dampening, and has good resistance to chemicals, mold, and bacteria. It is highly weather- and aging-resistant, UV-stable, and can be painted over with most types of paint and varnish. It has approval for use in the food industry.
