AAA batteries (LR03).
Reliable AAA Batteries for Small Electronics
The AAA battery is the “little brother” of the common AA battery and is used in a wide range of smaller electronic devices in offices and workplaces. It is the standard power source for equipment such as remote controls, presentation pointers, digital thermometers, headlamps and certain wireless mice. At Tingstad, you can purchase AAA batteries in economical bulk packs, ensuring you never run out of power in the middle of a presentation or work shift.
Alkaline or Rechargeable?
Just like with other battery sizes, it’s important to choose the right type depending on how the device is used:
- Alkaline batteries (Standard): The best choice for devices with low power consumption over long periods, such as AC and TV remote controls or kitchen scales. These have a long shelf life and are ready to use immediately.
- Rechargeable batteries (NiMH): Recommended for devices that are used frequently and draw more power, such as cordless phones (DECT) or voice recorders. A smart long-term investment for both the environment and your budget.
Are LR03 and AAA the Same?
Yes, they are. LR03 is the technical IEC designation for alkaline AAA batteries. They are also sometimes referred to as Micro. Whether your device manual says LR03, MN2400 or AM4, these are the batteries you need.
