The charging cable from Deltaco is suitable for all vehicles with a Type 2 socket for those who want to charge via a public charger or their own dedicated charging box at home with a Type 2 socket for mode 3 charging.
Silver-plated connections ensure good contact and long lifespan. Length: 5 m. Equipped with dust protection to guard against dust, dirt, and moisture during storage. The cable is made of a TPE material that provides good resistance to oil, abrasion, and UV light. The cable is also flexible in cold conditions.

Type 2 sockets are currently the EU standard. Cars from manufacturers such as AUDI, BMW, Hyundai, KIA, Mercedes, Porsche, Seat, Skoda, Tesla, Volkswagen, and Volvo all use Type 2 sockets.

The charging of the car is monitored through a two-way communication between the car and the charger. When the cable is plugged into the car, a self-test is conducted to ensure that the cable is correctly connected and that the car is ready to receive power before charging begins. When the cable is energized, the connectors are mechanically locked in place, which protects against both theft and unauthorized use during charging.

After charging, unlock the car so that the mechanical lock opens and remove the charging cable from the cars side first to disconnect it from the charger.
