In 1964, Sharpie launched its first marker pens, and it was then the world's first felt-tip pen. Today, Sharpie is almost synonymous with a marker in the United States. The bestseller is still the old classic Sharpie Permanent Marker Fine, but the range also includes textile pens, highlighters and industrial markers. Today, Sharpie pens are used for everything from sketches and autographs, scrapbooking and tattoo artists.
