Choosing the right calendar often comes down to how you prefer to visualize your week. In our 2026 planner range, you’ll find different layouts and bindings to suit various work styles.
Vertical or Horizontal Layout?
The biggest difference between our models is how the week is presented:
- Vertical layout: Common in models like Business and Senator. Days appear as columns with time slots running downwards. Perfect for those who schedule many timed meetings and want to clearly see open gaps.
- Horizontal layout: Here, the days run across the spread. This often provides more writing space horizontally for daily notes rather than specific time slots.
Spiral‑bound or Hardbound?
A spiral‑bound planner is practical if you want to fold the calendar completely around, saving desk space. A hardbound planner offers a more classic, elegant look and sits nicely on a shelf when the year is over. Many of our hardbound versions also feature durable faux‑leather covers designed to withstand daily use in a bag.
Format: A5 or A4?
Most of our weekly planners come in the standard A5 format (half an A4 sheet). It’s the perfect balance between writing space and portability. If you need extra room for planning, or if your planner stays on the desk, we recommend our larger A4 options.
