Table Runner or Decorative Runner?

Table runner and decorative runner are two names for the same type of long, narrow table covering. The runner can be placed along the centre of the table or across it to highlight part of the setting without covering the entire surface.

Both terms are used within the assortment, although table runner is the more common general term.

Choose Width and Roll Length According to the Table Setting

Many table runners in the assortment are approximately 40 cm wide and 24 metres long. This format creates a clearly defined runner without covering the whole table and can be used on both smaller tables and longer serving surfaces. Other widths and roll lengths are also available.

Most runners can be cut to the required length. Some models are perforated for easier tearing. Tingstad's Premium Airlaid runners, for example, are perforated at 1.20-metre intervals.

Materials and Appearance
