Coffee Filters

Choose the Right Coffee Filter for Your Brewer

The most important factor is that the coffee filter fits the brewer's filter holder. Common V-shaped paper filters are available in sizes such as 1x4 and 1x6, while larger coffee brewers often use catering filters or urn filters.

Not sure which size you need? Start by checking your brewer's model or the markings on the filter you currently use. For larger filters, you will usually need to know both the outer diameter and the bottom diameter of the filter.

Catering Filters and Urn Filters

Restaurants, hotels, and other businesses that brew large volumes of coffee often require larger filter formats.

Catering filters are a smaller version of urn filters. At Tingstad, you'll find options such as Brewmatic filters in 250/90 mm and 250/110 mm sizes, as well as larger urn filters for professional coffee brewers.

Keep in mind that filters with similar dimensions do not automatically fit the same brewer. Always check the filter size recommended by the machine manufacturer.

White or Unbleached Coffee Filters?

The range includes both white and unbleached coffee filters. The choice is largely a matter of preference, provided the filter has the correct shape and size for your brewer.

Many of our coffee filters are Nordic Swan Ecolabel certified or made from certified raw materials. Check the product specifications if your business has specific purchasing or sustainability requirements.
