Why a Rectangular Window Cleaning Bucket?

A standard round cleaning bucket works poorly for window cleaning for one simple reason: the tools don’t fit. Our professional buckets from Unger and Ettore are rectangular and elongated.

• Space for wide tools: Designed so you can easily dip a 35 cm or 45 cm washer without needing to angle it.
• Stability: The low center of gravity keeps the bucket steady on the ground and reduces the risk of spills.
• Accessories: Many buckets have holders for squeegees and hooks so you can hang the bucket on a ladder or belt.

Tool Belts and Holsters – Your Mobile Office

A good belt is the window cleaner’s most important ergonomic investment. By carrying the weight on your hips instead of in your hands, you reduce strain on your shoulders.

• Holsters (Bucket on Belt): Perhaps the most important accessory for a professional (often called a “Side Kick”). It’s a mini‑bucket that attaches to your belt. Here you store your wet washer and squeegee. The benefit? No water running down your leg, your tools follow you up the ladder, and both hands are free when climbing.

Tip: Think about the weight! A window cleaning bucket often holds 10–20 litres, which means 10–20 kg. Don’t fill the bucket more than necessary if you need to move it often.
