The paring knives are optimal for cutting vegetables and fruit, and the all-purpose knife is excellent for cutting meat and vegetables. The blades are made of high-carbon stainless steel 1K6 and have a hardness of 58 +/- 1. The handle is made of bamboo powder and polypropylene, which is hygienic since bamboo has natural antibacterial properties. Wasabi is a series of knives with Japanese aesthetics rooted in Zen Buddhism.
