When Many Orders Pass Through the Packing Station

For e-commerce businesses, choosing a box is not only about transportation but also about packing efficiency. Focus on Internal Dimensions, Not Only External Dimensions

When determining whether a product will fit, the internal dimensions are the most important measurement. For example, a box with external dimensions of 320 × 420 × 90 mm may have internal dimensions of 316 × 408 × 86 mm.

Also allow space for product height and any void-fill materials. A box that closely matches the product size can reduce the need for additional filling and create a more compact shipment.

Self-Sealing E-Commerce Box or Traditional Corrugated Box?

An e-commerce box with a self-adhesive strip and tear strip is a good option when efficient packing and easy opening are priorities.

A traditional corrugated box may be suitable if your business already uses packing tape and does not require integrated sealing. Compare internal dimensions, closure type, pack quantity, and packing process before making your selection.
