Waxed Tissue Paper as Part of the Bouquet Presentation
Waxed tissue paper allows florists to work with colours and layers around bouquets and floral arrangements. The range includes olive green, pink, lavender, peach, burgundy, and several other colours, typically supplied in sheets measuring around 50 × 70 cm or 50 × 75 cm.
The pre-cut sheets are practical when many bouquets are wrapped throughout the day and the same format is used repeatedly. The treated surface also improves moisture resistance, making it suitable for fresh flowers and potted plants.
Sheets or Wax Paper Rolls?
Sheets provide a ready-to-use format and make it easy to switch between colours. Wax paper rolls offer greater flexibility when the amount of paper needs to match the size of the bouquet or plant. The brown kraft paper roll is 57 cm wide and 155 metres long and is intended for applications including cut flowers and potted plants.
The wax paper can be used on its own or combined with floral wrapping paper, cellophane, and ribbons to create layered gift and flower wrapping.
