At Tingstad, you'll find wound dressings, pressure bandages, and first-aid dressings for workplaces and organisations that need first-aid equipment readily available. Our range includes the Cederroth 4-in-1 in both large and small sizes, dressings from Akla, and haemostatic spray for minor superficial wounds.
The most suitable dressing depends on the type of injury and where on the body it will be used. A pressure bandage is designed to apply pressure to a bleeding wound, while a wound dressing helps protect minor injuries. Compare size, intended use, and contents to find the right products for your workplace first-aid kit.
Wound dressings and pressure bandages are an important part of workplace first-aid equipment. The right product depends on factors such as the size of the injury, the location of the wound, and the severity of the bleeding.
The Cederroth 4-in-1 is a sterile dressing that can be used in four ways:
Always use the dressing according to the instructions provided on the packaging.
The Cederroth 4-in-1 is available in two sizes. The large version includes a 14 × 23 cm dressing pad and is suitable when a larger wound area needs to be covered.
The mini version includes an 8 × 12 cm dressing pad and is particularly suitable for fingers and toes.
When restocking workplace first-aid supplies, always check the size and contents of the dressing.
For minor cuts, grazes, and abrasions, AlphraMedic haemostatic spray is also available. The spray contains an absorbent alginate-based powder that helps stop minor superficial bleeding.
Haemostatic spray is not intended for severe or life-threatening bleeding. Always follow the product's instructions for use.
Severe bleeding can quickly become life-threatening. Call 112 immediately and apply firm pressure directly to the wound. If several people are present, one person can call for help while another assists the injured individual.
Continue applying pressure and follow the instructions given by the emergency operator. A pressure bandage can be used to maintain pressure when appropriate, but it should not delay urgent medical assistance.
For minor wounds, Tingstad also offers plasters and plaster dispensers.
