First Aid Stations & Cabinets.
A wall-mounted first aid station is the foundation of workplace safety. By collecting all essential supplies in a clearly visible and well-marked location, everyone knows exactly where to go when an accident happens. Here you’ll find everything from open first aid boards for quick access to lockable, dust-tight cabinets designed for demanding industrial environments. We offer complete solutions from leading brands such as Cederroth and Akla—designed to meet the requirements set by the Swedish Work Environment Authority.

How to Choose the Right First Aid Station
Choosing between an open station (board) and a closed cabinet depends entirely on your work environment. The goal is to make first aid equipment as accessible as possible—without it becoming dirty or unusable.
Open Station or Closed Cabinet?
- First Aid Stations (Boards): These are ideal for offices, schools, and clean warehouse environments. The main advantage is visibility—you can instantly see if something is missing or needs refilling. Products such as the Cederroth First Aid Station are designed so that plasters and dressings are pulled downward, which reduces waste and makes them easy to use with one hand.
- First Aid Cabinets (Metal/Steel): In dirty, dusty, or humid environments—such as workshops, construction sites, or industrial facilities—a closed cabinet is essential. The cabinet protects dressings from dust and moisture, ensuring that plasters adhere properly and that eye wash is clean when it’s truly needed. Many of our cabinets are lockable, which is especially useful in public areas to reduce the risk of theft.
What Does the Work Environment Authority Say?
According to the regulations of the Swedish Work Environment Authority, first aid equipment must be available and clearly marked at all workplaces. The equipment must be adapted to the risks involved in the specific operation.
- For chemical handling: Complement the station with an eye wash station.
- For kitchens & food handling: Choose stations with detectable (blue) plasters and soft foam dressings.
- For burn risks: Make sure the station includes burn gel or complement it with a dedicated burn care panel.
Easy to Refill
A major advantage of our stations and cabinets is that they are part of a complete system. When plasters run out or eye wash reaches its expiration date, there’s no need to purchase a new cabinet. All replacement products can be found in our First Aid Refill category. We recommend appointing a responsible person to inspect the stations at least twice a year.
Equipment Placement
Place your station or cabinet centrally and ensure it is easily accessible. It should not be blocked by pallets or furniture. For optimal visibility, we recommend adding an Emergency Sign above the station so it can be seen from anywhere in the facility.
