Heated cabinets for restaurants, commercial kitchens, hotels, and catering operations. These cabinets are used for keeping prepared food or serving ware warm during service and are available in a range of sizes and configurations. Choose a model based on internal capacity, external dimensions, temperature control, and intended placement in the kitchen. Choose a Heated Cabinet by Capacity and Workspace

Start by assessing how much storage capacity is required and how much space is available in the kitchen or serving area. Compare both the external dimensions and internal measurements, as two cabinets with similar outer dimensions may offer different usable storage space.

For heated cabinets that also function as worktables, width, depth, and working height are important considerations. A stainless steel work surface on top of the cabinet can make it possible to use the same area for preparation and plating while keeping food or tableware warm below.

Also check the number of shelves, shelf positioning, and maximum load capacity if the cabinet will be used to store larger quantities of GN pans, containers, or tableware.

Temperature, Doors, and Placement

Temperature range and controls vary between models. Choose a heated cabinet with temperature settings suitable for the items being kept warm and always check the specified operating range.

The door design affects how the cabinet can be integrated into the kitchen. Sliding-door models require less free space in front of the cabinet than hinged doors, while pass-through cabinets with access from both sides can be positioned between the kitchen and serving area or used in a continuous workflow.

Finally, check the electrical rating, voltage, external dimensions, and any installation requirements before installation.
