  • Sievi Roller is equipped with the easy-to-use and durable, patented lacing mechanism Boa®. The Boa® mechanism provides comfort for wearers of safety shoes: simply turn the dial, and your shoes will adjust to fit your feet perfectly. The shoes are also quick and easy to take off: the lacing is conveniently released when the dial is lifted.

    Toe cap, composite
    The toe cap protects the toes from being injured by falling objects and from being crushed. It meets the requirements of the standard EN ISO 20345:2011: the impact resistance is 200 J, and the resistance to compressive force is 15,000 N. The toe cap is made of composite and contains no metals. The cap provides excellent insulation against heat and cold.

    Puncture protection, composite textile
    The puncture resistance against nails meets the same requirements in EN ISO 20345:2011 as traditional steel puncture protection. However, steel provides better puncture resistance, which is why Sievi recommends steel puncture protection for more demanding conditions (e.g., construction sites).

    Oil and chemical resistant
    Sievis soles withstand oil and many chemicals without damage. Sievi shoes have oil resistance that meets the requirements of the EN ISO 20345:2011 standard.

    Antistatic
    Shoes with antistatic construction safely and controllably dissipate the static electricity that builds up on the body. The grounding limits are 100 kO - 1000 MO.

    Water-repellent
    The shoes have water-repellent material on the outside. The water repellency meets the requirements of the EN ISO 20345:2011 standard.

    Shock absorption in the heel
    The shock absorption in the heel protects the legs and support organs from overexertion. It meets the requirements of the standards EN ISO 20345:11 and EN ISO 20347:2012: the shoes shock absorption is at least 20 J. The FlexStep® material in all Sievi shoes guarantees shock absorption in the heel. You can find more information under the FlexStep® section.

    Sole material PU/TPU
    The outsole has two layers and is made of polyurethane and elastic thermoplastic polyurethane. The sole is durable, and the mid-layer is made of shock-absorbing FlexStep® material.

    DUAL insole
    The Sievi DUAL Comfort insole helps your feet and back cope better throughout the day. The shock-absorbing pads in the sole are made of PORON® material.

    Microfiber
    The material on the outside of the shoe is made of microfiber, which can often be washed and dries quickly.

    ESD
    ESD shoes have a sole construction that safely and controllably dissipates static electricity from the body. Sievis ESD shoes have resistance values of 100 kO - 35 MO. These values are stricter than those for regular antistatic shoes (IEC 61340-5-1).

    BOA® lacing mechanism – provides better comfort
    The patented BOA® lacing mechanism is easy to use. It is durable and significantly increases shoe comfort. You simply turn the dial and tighten your shoes so that they fit your feet perfectly.

    3D-dry lining keeps your feet pleasantly dry
    Always dry feet, one less worry. Sievi has developed its own lining material, 3D-dry. It absorbs and transports moisture away from the foot and out of the shoe.

    FlexStep® – Good grip and shock absorption at work
    The microporous construction of the FlexStep® material, developed by Sievi, has now been renewed. The new material for the outsole maintains its excellent shock-absorbing effect and elasticity better under cold conditions. Thanks to this, the shoes sole remains soft even in severe cold and provides good grip on slippery surfaces. The entire construction of the FlexStep® sole prevents the legs and spine from being subjected to overexertion and shocks, as well as preventing pain in the legs and back, which increases work efficiency. All soles in Sievi shoes are made of FlexStep® material.
