Cast iron retains heat for a long time and is ideal for dishes that go from stovetop to oven. Carl Victor and Staub are the two brands in the range offering cast iron sauté pans, both pre-seasoned and ready to use. Cast iron requires hand washing and some maintenance, but lasts for decades.

Sauté pan with non-stick coating

Non-stick is suitable for kitchens that prioritise quick cleaning and easy handling. Scanpan CTX and Fusion 5 are the most popular series in this segment, with coatings that withstand medium oven temperatures and are PFOA-free. Ballarini Avola is a cost-effective alternative with similar properties.

Sauté pan in stainless steel
