Carl Victors cast iron products are made from strictly controlled recyclable iron and are free from PTFE, PFOA, and other chemicals.

Natural “non-stick” effect:
You can start using frying and cooking utensils in cast iron as well as other Carl Victor cast iron products immediately, as they are seasoned and ready. Each cast iron product from Carl Victor is seasoned in vegetable oil at 400 °C. If you also take care of Carl Victors cast iron pans and pots properly, they will eventually develop a natural “non-stick” effect.

Usage:
Heat the vessel with cooking oil, butter, or other cooking fat until it is hot and ready. Sear the food for 45 seconds on each side before lowering the heat to finish cooking. Do not leave any food in the pot after you are done.

After use:
1) Wash with warm water. Dry it thoroughly.
2) Oil it with a paper towel and store it dry.

Note!
Never leave the cast iron pot damp or use a dishwasher, as the cast iron pot may start to rust if you do not follow this.
