Small or Large Bubbles?
The bubble size affects how closely the material conforms to the product and how thick the protective layer becomes. Bubble wrap with small bubbles is flexible and suitable for smaller products or items with detailed shapes. These models have a specified thickness of 4 mm and are supplied on 150-metre rolls.
Bubble wrap with large bubbles provides a thicker cushioning layer and can be suitable for larger products that require increased protection. These models are supplied on 75-metre rolls.
Choose Roll Width According to the Product
Tingstad's range includes bubble wrap in widths from 30 cm up to 150 cm.
Narrower rolls are practical for smaller items and packing stations handling a high volume of small orders. Wider rolls cover larger surfaces with fewer joins, making them suitable for larger products or bulky shipments.
For businesses handling products of different sizes, keeping more than one roll width at the packing station can be practical.
Complete the Protection for Each Shipment
Bubble wrap can be used both directly around products and together with other packaging materials inside shipping boxes. When needed, it can be combined with corrugated cardboard, packing tape, and void-fill materials to protect products and reduce movement during transport.
