Washing & care
Proper handling extends service life and creates a professional impression, night after night.
Machine washing
- Place the glasses so they do not touch each other
- Use a low-temperature programme
- Run a rinse cycle after the main wash
- Avoid lead crystal and handmade glasses in dishwashers
- Glasses with gold detailing should always be hand washed
Hand washing
- Wash one glass at a time to avoid impact damage
- Remove lipstick with paper before washing
- Use hot water and an effective detergent
- Rinse in cold water to remove residue
- Air-dry in a rack – avoid coarse textiles
Drying & polishing
- Use a microfiber cloth or lint-free paper
- Avoid rough cloths that may scratch the glass surface
- Never hold the foot and bowl at the same time when polishing
- Wine glasses are particularly fragile at the joint between foot and stem
