As of November 1, 2024, the plastic bag tax in Sweden has been removed.
Producer Responsibility of Business and the NPA Fee.
The NPA fee, or Producer Responsibility of Business, is a charge introduced to ensure that producers take responsibility for the environmental impact of their products throughout their lifecycle.
Reusable options for take away.
From 1 January 2024, restaurants and other establishments in Sweden that offers their customers food and drinks in disposable cups and food packaging also needs to offer reusable options.
Ban on Single-Use Plastic Cups.
