Office Chairs
At Tingstad, you'll find office chairs and desk chairs for offices, home offices, and other workplaces. We offer chairs in a variety of designs, from traditional office chairs with adjustable seats and backrests to active seating solutions and kneeling chairs. Choose from models by brands such as Kontorsmiljö, Sun-Flex, and Unilux.
When selecting an office chair, it is worth considering how long the chair will be used each day and which adjustment options you need. Compare seat height, backrest design, armrests, and other adjustment features to find a chair that suits both you and your workplace. If the chair will be used by multiple people, a model that is easy to adjust can be particularly practical.

Choose the Right Office Chair
An office chair should suit both the person using it and the tasks being performed. If you spend a large part of the day working at a desk, it is a good idea to choose a chair with adjustment options that allow you to adapt your sitting position.
Adjustable Office Chairs
Many office chairs feature adjustable seat height, and some models also offer adjustments for the backrest, armrests, and seat tilt. Available features vary between different chairs.
Also check the seat depth, chair dimensions, and recommended maximum weight capacity. If multiple employees will use the same chair, it is helpful if the adjustments are easy to change.
Active Seating Solutions and Kneeling Chairs
In addition to traditional office chairs, there are alternative seating solutions such as kneeling chairs and active desk chairs. These differ in design and can be used when you want to vary your sitting position throughout the workday.
Keep in mind that an alternative seating solution may not be suitable for every user and does not automatically replace the need for a well-adjusted office chair.
Consider the Flooring
If the office chair has casters, it is also important to consider the type of flooring on which it will be used. A floor protector or chair mat can help reduce wear and tear on the floor.
